A Fool for Love: Featuring Katy Miner & Jack Kreuzer

We’ve all taken the risk of looking like a fool for love, for a dream, or for the adventure of being alive. But does love make one a fool, or do only fools fall in love? Or are you a fool if you do not fall in love? And what happens when you fall out of love, or worse, your lover falls out of love with you? Well, you must fall in love in order to find out whether or not you shouldn’t have fallen in the first place.

Join Katy Miner and Jack Kreuzer as they sing their favorite foolish love songs: the giddy, the heartbreaking and the bitter. Accompanied by an all-star rhythm section: Harry Graser–piano, Ed Croft–bass and Joe Goretti–drums.

Katy Miner sings a diverse and rich repertoire in jazz, musical theatre, pop and the Great American Songbook that has established her on the jazz club scene in Western New York. She has made appearances with the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra, at the CMCJazzFest, the East Aurora Music Festival, the Lewiston Jazz Festival, and the Olcott Beach Jazz Trail, singing with both small and big bands.

Jack Kreuzer swings, croons, and serenades his way through a wide-ranging repertoire of jazz standards, tunes from the Great American Songbook, and musical theatre. The young bass/baritone established himself at Syracuse University’s Setnor School of Music and School of Drama before returning home to Buffalo to share, through song, the wealth of emotion the human experience brings.
